today i learned about health insurance deductibles.
i think they thought i was a schmuck, like i didn't want to pay, when i just wasn't understanding. i thought that was the whole thing with insurance. you pay them, and then they pay the doctor.
apparantly that isn't the case...
yet.

unfortunately, i understand this all too well, as i just got off a half hour phone call with my insurance company, haggling over the $1500 they owe me.
